Ollie Lowry Memorial Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School Scholarship

The Ollie Lowry Memorial Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of Ollie Marie Nye Lowry, a beloved educator whose passion for teaching and dedication to her students left a lasting impact on her community.

Born and raised in Laredo, Texas, Ollie devoted her life to education and most notably taught Kindergarten at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School in New Braunfels for more than 15 years.

This scholarship celebrates Ollie’s deep commitment to education, family, and community by supporting students attending Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School who have strong family ties to Laredo.

Application Opens: March 1^st, 2026
Application Deadline: June 1^st, 2026

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

• Be a current or incoming student at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School in New Braunfels, Texas
• Have a parent who was born and raised in Laredo, Texas
• Have a parent, grandparent, or close familial relative who currently resides in Laredo, Texas

Award Information:

The scholarship may cover up to the full annual tuition at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School. The final award amount will vary depending on available funds and the number of qualified applicants.

Renewability:

This scholarship may be renewed annually for the same student, provided the student remains enrolled at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School in New Braunfels, Texas.

Required Documentation

Applicants may be asked to provide documentation verifying eligibility, which may include:

• Proof of enrollment or acceptance at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School
• Documentation supporting the applicant’s familial connection to Laredo, Texas
